M3, a provider of hotel-accounting software and services, has promoted Allen Read to the role of CEO, succeeding John McKibbon, who will continue as chairman. In addition, Casi Johnson has been promoted to president.
Read’s career started with the launch of M3 in 1998. In his new capacity, he oversees all aspects of the company’s operations, with a particular focus on overall corporate strategy, finance, sales & marketing, human resources and M3 Professional Services, the company’s comprehensive boutique accounting division.
Johnson has been a member of the M3 organization since 2000. As president, she will steer all M3 software products and enhancements, and oversee security, IT development and customer success.
