Alabama-based investor group acquires Perdido Beach Resort

Perdido Hotel Partners, an affiliate of Aurora Hospitality Partners, along with Terry and Nick Saban, Joe Agresti and a small group of investors, has acquired Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, AL.

The resort has 344 guestrooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center and 45,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.

The buyers said the transaction keeps the long-running Gulf Coast resort under local leadership committed to its future. The property has served families across the Southeast for nearly 40 years.

Aurora Hospitality Partners, which will manage the resort, said it plans to maintain the property’s legacy while refining the guest experience.

“We could not be more honored to steward a place that means so much to so many families across our state,” said Blair Plott, cofounder, Aurora Hospitality Partners. “It means a great deal to us that Perdido Beach Resort will move forward under the leadership of Alabamians who believe in the future of this community. Our focus is to build on its legacy and elevate the guest experience in a way that reflects the very best of Alabama.”
