Adache Group Architects, a south Florida-based architectural firm specializing in hospitality, multi-family and mixed-use construction, has been selected to design hotels in Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, FL.
Adache has been selected as the architect by P & S Hospitality Corporation to design the 92,032-sq.-ft. Staybridge Suites located at 1531 SW 26th St. in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The newly planned eight-story, 124-room hotel is the first branded Staybridge Suites prototype in south Florida, which went from traditional to a modern style. This features clean lines, minimalistic and functionable features. The new features range from an outdoor living room area with a fire pit to a great room for social gatherings along with “socials” planned three days a week. Additionally, an intimate living room is also within the plans for smaller groups and quiet space.
The hotel anticipates breaking ground in spring 2023 with an opening date of winter 2024. The Staybridge brand hotel is an extended-stay hotel experience with luxury suites ranging from king studio suites to two-bedroom double queen and king one-bedroom suites.
This hotel makes its mark on State Route 84 revitalizing the neighboring community and streetscape, carefully positioned to preserve existing live oak trees on and around the site. The exterior facade encapsulates a southern vibrant twist and elegant flair and, on the inside, portrays a home away from home experience.
Each unit type has a full kitchen and amenities such as an outdoor pool, multiple lounges and living spaces for relaxation. A gym and guest locker storage is available as well as a laundry room. Complimentary Breakfast is served every morning with turn down service. Staybridge Suites is located just two miles to the beach and shuttle service to and from the airport, which is two miles away.
“As we embark on our first project with Adache Architects, we are already very impressed with their ability to stay on schedule, ultimate professionalism and hands-on personal work ethic,” said Shawn Patel, cofounder, P & S Corporation.
Pete Patel, cofounder, P & S Corporation added, “This extended-stay hotel is in prime location—just steps away from the airport and the beaches.”
P & S Corporation’s Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) property is performing at a top occupancy rate is located near the newly planned Staybridge Suites. The new project will become its sister property. This will provide the company with more of an upscale market for extended-stays. P & S has a total of three additional projects it owns by acquisition.
“We are excited to announce the submission of the design of Staybridge Suites to the city for their approval and that construction is anticipated to begin in spring 2023,” said Daniel Adache, CEO, Adache Group Architects. “We appreciate the council’s support of this project, which will bring this extended-stay option in the core of Fort Lauderdale.”

Amenities include a swimming pool, bistro & bar, Starbucks Coffee, breakfast dining, meeting rooms, a business center and 24/7 fitness center. Guestrooms feature in-room flat-screen TVs, microwaves and refrigerators and complimentary WiFi connectivity.
