Accor and Cvent partner on B2B leisure contract solution

To prepare hotels for the revival of the tourism industry, which will begin with a speedier recovery in terms of leisure clientele and domestic travel, Cvent now enables the management of leisure RFPs, and Accor will be the first hospitality group to roll out the new solution out to its properties, starting from April 15.

The all-new leisure RFP product will facilitate the end-to-end tracking of leisure contract creation, from making inquiries to hotels to charging rates in CRS and PMS. All the contract details will be available in the CRM tool. This integration will provide hotels and sales teams with 360-degree vision of sales activity in order to provide a high level of service to B2B customers, according to the company.

The launch of this new digital solution will represent a competitive advantage by enabling hotel managers to look forward to the recovery with peace of mind thanks to a streamlined B2B inquiry process from start to finish, the company reports. The solution will be available from April in almost 3,500 leisure-focused hotels in the more than 5,100 properties that make up the Accor Group.

Jointly designed with the teams at Cvent, the new solution benefits from the combined expertise of two global hospitality leaders, offering the functionality hotel managers and sales teams need to accelerate industry recovery and growth in this segment.

According to Markus Keller, SVP, sales & distribution at Accor, “We are delighted to announce the launch of the Cvent’s leisure RFP product at our hotels. It is the result of expertise and cross-company collaboration which brings together the best of Accor and Cvent. Developed during this unprecedented situation, this new solution will now be rolled out within our target properties. We are very pleased with our achievements to date and are keen to see how the solution will evolve.”

Jim Abramson, VP of product management at Cvent, said, “It’s been an honor for Cvent to partner with Accor, one of the most recognized hospitality brands in Europe, over the last decade. The launch of this new leisure RFP experience highlights our deep commitment to collaborating with our hotel partners around the world and to delivering the solutions they need to streamline processes and drive efficiency at scale. We look forward to supporting Accor’s continued success and finding new ways to facilitate the recovery of the travel and hospitality industry.”
