A Look at Hotels Under New Management

NATIONAL REPORT—Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Davidson Hotels & Resorts, Prism and Muy’Ono Hospitality are making management deals. Here’s what’s happening:

Interstate Adds Northern California Landmark to Portfolio
Interstate Hotels & Resorts has been selected to manage Hayes Mansion San Jose, recently acquired by JMA Ventures LLC, a San Francisco-based full-service investment and development firm focusing on real estate and leisure-lifestyle assets. A multimillion-dollar remodel and repositioning is anticipated to commence later this year, upgrading the landmark hotel by adding luxury design and amenities while maintaining its architectural character and charm. The new management contract furthers Interstate’s coast-to-coast U.S. expansion, following news of projects under development or construction, including historic Hill Top House Hotel, a luxury destination retreat in Harpers Ferry, WA and a new Le Méridien hotel in Orange County, CA.

Davidson Hotels & Resorts Assumes Management Of Hilton Denver Inverness
Davidson Hotels & Resorts has been awarded the management contract for the 302-room Hilton Denver Inverness. The full-service hotel and conference center near the Denver Tech Center is the management company’s second property in the Denver area.

Prism Adds Two Dallas Properties to Portfolio
Dallas-based Prism Hotels and Resorts has won new management contracts for two properties located in the upscale Stonebriar community of Frisco, TX: The Westin Stonebriar Hotel & Golf Club and Sheraton Stonebriar Hotel. Prism will manage and reposition both properties.

Muy’Ono Hospitality Assumes Management of The Placencia in Belize
Muy’Ono Hospitality has assumed management of The Placencia Resort. Situated along the Maya Beach coastline in Southern Belize, the 90-room resort is just a short journey away from the village of Placencia, and positioned to provide access to both jungle and ocean adventures.
