Concord Hospitality, a hotel management and development company currently operating more than 140 hotels across North America, has named Will Loughran as its new COO. He reports to Mark Laport, the company’s president/CEO, and succeeds Nick Kellock, who will retire in May after more than 15 years with the firm.

A 30-year-plus hospitality veteran, Loughran joins Concord Hospitality from Evolution Hospitality, where he has served as president/CEO for the past few years after joining the company as COO in 2015. Prior to his role at Evolution Hospitality, he served as president at Richfield Hospitality, where he oversaw hotel operations in more than 30 countries. He also spent six years at Sage Hospitality Resources as VP, revenue, spearheading the creation of the first Sage Sales and Revenue Summit. Loughran started his career at Marriott International, where he held multiple leadership positions over nearly 20 years at the company.
Loughran will ensure that all properties under Concord Hospitality management are operating efficiently and effectively, ensuring alignment of all parties’ mutual interests and goals, while simultaneously, working to develop and implement strategic plans for the brands growth and expansion, according to the company. His expertise in international markets will also help Concord Hospitality to further expand its footprint, particularly in Canada.
