New Waterloo expands into Baltimore

Independent hotel management company New Waterloo is taking over management for Hotel Revival in Baltimore.

“We are delighted and humbled to work with the team at Hotel Revival,” said New Waterloo CEO Bart Knaggs. “We look forward to supporting the people in place, as well as furthering the efforts to connect and enhance impact in their communities. The care and cause they have embedded align entirely with the ambitions and intentions of New Waterloo as a management company.”

Housed in a restored former mansion, Hotel Revival has 107 guestrooms, one restaurant, a cocktail lounge and a coffee shop. Since opening in 2018, the team at Hotel Revival has established the property as an agent of positive social change in the Baltimore community, according to the company.

New Waterloo currently owns and operates South Congress Hotel in Austin, as well as a number of restaurants and a golf course. The group also manages El Rey Court in Santa Fe, NM, and Waymore’s Guest House in Nashville. New Waterloo is also slated to open Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg, TX this year.
