New COO at Deutsche Hospitality, more hires

Deutsche Hospitality has named Josef Dolp its new COO, while Noble Investment Group, LBA Hospitality and Sage Hospitality have added executives.

Dolp joins Deutsche Hospitality
Josef Dolp has been named the new COO of Deutsche Hospitality. In this role, he oversees hotel operations and customer experience across all brands and geographies.

He has spent the last 20 years leading some of the largest hotels and regions for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Marriott International and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. He joined Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in 2018 as EVP, Southeast Asia and Australasia. Previously, he served as area VP, Macau, Taiwan and Southeast China for Marriott.

Noble Investment Group adds two
Noble Investment Group has added Katherine Minnock as director of investments and Owen Berry as development manager.

Minnock is responsible for the execution of the acquisition and development strategies across Noble’s investment platforms. She joins Noble from Starwood Capital affiliate SH Hotels & Resorts, where she was director of development, overseeing U.S. and Asia-Pacific growth across their three luxury and lifestyle hotel brands. She previously held leadership roles at BRE Hotels & Resorts, a Blackstone company, and Hilton.

Berry is responsible for assisting Noble’s pre-development process for hotel acquisitions, renovations and new developments, including due diligence, estimating and design. He joins Noble from Lighthouse Consulting Group, where he was a senior associate. He was previously an associate architect for LM Consultants, where he conducted acquisition property condition assessments and new-build construction inspections.

Reid joins LBA Hospitality as VP, operations support
LBA Hospitality, an Alabama–based hotel management company, has added Scott Reid as the company’s VP, operations support.

He oversees the activities and workflow of the corporate director of F&B, the regional engineering team and the task force management team. Additionally, he is responsible for the development and implementation of an operations game plan focused on process improvements that will successfully impact brand and owner relations. He previously served a seven-year stint with LBA Hospitality. He brings more than 25 years in the hospitality industry, where he’s worked with numerous hospitality companies.

Kibler appointed creative director of Sage Studio at Sage Hospitality Group
Sage Studio, the in-house branding and creative company within Sage Hospitality Group, has appointed Ryan Kibler as creative director.

In this new leadership position, he oversees key growth initiatives for the Sage Studio team, including new developments, adaptive-reuse and major repositioning projects within Sage Hospitality Group’s extensive portfolio of restaurants, branded hotels, soft brands and independent properties.

The child of two artists and a lifelong creative, Kibler began his career working in fashion and branding in New York City, and previously served as creative director at culture-driven hospitality groups including Foreign National in Washington, DC, and most recently, Eaton Workshop in Los Angeles.
