Catherine Hance has joined Mission Hill Hospitality as general counsel.
“The addition of Catherine to our team will be instrumental to Mission Hill’s continued growth,” said Greg Kennealey, CEO, Mission Hill Hospitality. “She brings a depth of legal experience, particularly in hospitality, real estate, finance and acquisitions. In this newly created role, Catherine will oversee and manage Mission Hill’s legal matters and play an active role in portfolio development and management.”
Hance joins Mission Hill from Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP in Denver, where she was a partner in the firm’s real estate group for more than 20 years. Her practice covered all areas of real estate transactions, including real property acquisition and disposition, development, leasing, financing and land use development and zoning, as well as formation of entities for real estate development and investment, with a particular focus on hospitality-related transactions. She represented clients in the acquisition, financing, development and disposition of hotel properties across the U.S., including negotiation of hotel management, franchise, construction and other related agreements. She was named a partner in the firm after serving as an associate for four years.
