Benchmark Names SVP of Sales & Marketing
Benchmark Hospitality has tapped Eric Gavin as its SVP of sales & marketing. A seasoned sales and marketing hospitality executive with nearly 20 years of senior-level leadership experience, he returns to Benchmark after serving as CMO for Salamander Hotels & Resorts. His most recent position with Benchmark was as regional VP of sales and marketing. Prior to joining Benchmark the first time, Gavin served as VP of marketing for Noble House Hotels & Resorts.
Associated Luxury Hotels Strengthens Leadership Team
Associated Luxury Hotels, the parent company of Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) and WorldHotels Collection, has appointed three industry veterans to the company’s executive leadership team. All three executives will report to Josh Lesnick, president and CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels, and will be based out of the company’s new headquarters in Boston.
The global hospitality and revenue generation company has hired on Hugh Merryweather as EVP, chief financial and administration officer; Jerry Rash as GM of loyalty and customer strategy; and Liz Adams as director of corporate marketing & brand communications.
American Express Travel and Lifestyle Services Names Audrey Hendley President
Audrey Hendley has been named president of American Express Travel and Lifestyle Services. This appointment marks a return to American Express Travel for her; earlier in her career, she served as VP of marketing and strategic partnerships. Most recently, she led the global commercial payments and consulting services organization.
Matt Omansky Joins Marcus & Millichap Hospitality Team
Marcus & Millichap has hired Matt Omansky as a hotel broker on its hospitality team. He will focus his efforts on exclusively representing buyers and sellers of hospitality investment properties throughout the West Texas markets. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Ten-X on its national hospitality group and contributed to the closing of 25 investment hotel transitions valued over $113 million.
