Jeff Shockley joins Dimension Hospitality

Hotel management and development company Dimension Hospitality has appointed Jeff Shockley as EVP, development and analytics. He is responsible for growing the company’s portfolio of nearly 80 all-suite, full-service and select-service hotels, and expanding operational and analytical technologies.

In his previous role as VP, acquisitions and financial analysis at Hotel Equities, Shockley helped develop and open more than 50 hotels under Marriott and Hilton flags and led the business intelligence team.

“Jeff is an accomplished hotelier who started as a hotel sales manager and worked his way into positions of increasing responsibility,” said Greg Friedman, CEO, Dimension Hospitality. “He brings a rare combination of operational insights, business intelligence expertise and an exceptional track record of identifying and delivering management contracts and development opportunities.  He’s also a great fit for our people-first company culture. I have every confidence he is the right person to help us move to the next dimension of our company’s history.”

Shockley is a two-time GM of the year for the Fairfield brand and has helped dozens of current general managers advance in their careers through mentorship and training, according to the company.

“Operational excellence and technology proficiency are key factors when owners are considering new management companies, and when developers are comparing a very competitive field of capable and qualified partners,” said Shockley.  “I am eager to use my unique combination of skills to help Greg and his team in their growth plans.”
