Best Western recently opened six properties, including three new additions to the BW Premier Collection, two SureStay properties and a Best Western hotel.
Additions to BW Premier Collection
BWH Hotel Group has added three hotels to the BW Hotel Collection—Hub Murray Hill in New Providence, NJ; Independence Park Hotel in Philadelphia; and Fountain Park Hotel in Fountain Hills, AZ.
The Hub Murray Hill features 80 renovated rooms and suites, and nearby attractions include the Paper Mill Playhouse, the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, Morristown National Historical Park, Fosterfield’s Living Historical Farm and Edison National Historic Site.
Independence Park Hotel is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Originally built in 1856, the property is an “adaptive-reuse” hotel conversion, originally built for Mr. Elliott’s Dry Goods Store, then a toy and doll manufacturing facility and later a brewery. It is close to Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross House, National Constitution Center and the Museum of the American Revolution.
Fountain Park Hotel offers 58 guestrooms, including 11 suites. Suites offer a separate bedroom and living room space with stackable washer/dryer, two-burner induction stovetop, convection microwave and mid-size refrigerator. The property has a newly remodeled gym, a heated pool and spa. It is surrounded by the McDowell and Four Peak Mountains, and directly across the street from Fountain Park.
Two new SureStay properties
SureStay Hotel by Best Western Chula Vista San Diego Bay in Chula Vista, CA, and SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Raleigh North Downtown in Raleigh, NC, have joined the portfolio.
The SureStay Hotel by Best Western Chula Vista San Diego Bay, which recently completed a renovation of approximately $500,000, features 107 guestrooms, complete with flat-screen televisions, microwaves and mini fridges. It offers an outdoor pool; guest laundry; printing and faxing services; complimentary breakfast and free wireless internet. It is close to San Diego International Airport, Port of San Diego, Gaslamp Quarter, the Convention Center and San Diego Zoo.
The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Raleigh North Downtown has 139 guestrooms, including 39 suites, all with flat-screen televisions, microwaves and mini-fridges. Amenities including an outdoor pool, business center and complimentary hot breakfast. A variety of museums are in the area including the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science, Marbles Kids Museum and North Carolina Museum of Art.
Best Western Morgan City Inn
The Best Western Morgan City Inn in Morgan City, LA, has opened with 57 guestrooms, including 15 suites. The property recently completed a $400,000 renovation.
Each of the hotel’s guestrooms and suites feature a flat-screen television, coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge, with select rooms including Whirlpool bathtubs and sofa beds. Amenities include a fitness center, outdoor pool, a business center with complimentary printing, faxing and scanning, complimentary hot breakfast and free wireless internet throughout the property.
