BOSTON—Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), which serves as the global sales force for more than 250 luxury independent hotels, has increased its domestic and international footprint with the addition of new hotels and brands in destinations with emerging meeting and incentive markets.
New properties in the company’s portfolio include One&Only Palmilla, Los Cabos, Mexico; Kempinski Emerald Palace, Dubai; MGM Springfield, Springfield, MA; Hotel Annapolis, Annapolis, MD; Live! By Loews, St. Louis, MO; and Hotel Alessandra, Houston.

One&Only Palmilla, Los Cabos, Mexico
The resort boasts 174 guestrooms, several fine dining establishments, including a Michelin-star chef steakhouse and seafood restaurant, a celebrated destination spa and wellness retreat, and a fitness center. Other resort amenities include 16,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, a 27-hole golf course and three tennis courts.
Emerald Palace Kempinski, Dubai
The Emerald Palace Kempinski is Dubai’s palace by the sea. The five-star luxury hotel has 391 guestrooms with views of the Arabian Gulf, leisure facilities including a private beach and lagoon pool, a private cinema, a nine-hole putting green, and a spa with 23 treatment rooms.
MGM Springfield, Springfield, MA
MGM Springfield’s venues include the MassMutual Center, a sports and entertainment center with 100,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, and an 8,000-seat arena; the Roar! Comedy Club, an on-property comedy club opening in January 2019; and the Topgolf Swing Suite, a simulated golf experience and lounge.
Hotel Annapolis, Annapolis, Maryland
The hotel features 198 guestrooms and 17 suites that combine nautical charm with modern convenience and boasts 20,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting space. The hotel’s meetings spaces are equipped with A/V services and catering.
Live! by Loews, St. Louis, Missouri
In 2020, Live! By Loews will open its doors in downtown St. Louis. A $65-million dollar hotel project and part of the Ballpark Village’s $260-million dollar expansion, the eight-story hotel will transform Clark St. There will be 216 guestrooms and 19 suites with views of Busch Stadium, the Gateway Arch and the downtown area.
Hotel Alessandra, Houston, Texas
The 21-story hotel’s architecture and minimalist design are timeless and can be seen throughout the 223 guestrooms and 5,500 sq. ft. of meeting space. Hotel Alessandra’s fine-dining options include a Mediterranean restaurant whose dishes are infused with flavors from Portugal, Greece and Spain, and a bar and lounge, boasting handcrafted cocktails and light bites.
