Gulph Creek converts The Prussia Hotel to City Express by Marriott

Gulph Creek Hotels has completed the conversion of The Prussia Hotel in King of Prussia, PA, to the City Express by Marriott King of Prussia.

Located near the King of Prussia Mall, Valley Forge National Historical Park and major corporate centers along the Route 202 and I-76 corridors, the newly converted hotel offers refreshed guestrooms, complimentary breakfast, high-speed WiFi, flexible workspaces, fitness amenities and access to Philadelphia and surrounding suburban markets.

“This conversion represents an important strategic investment for Gulph Creek Hotels and reinforces our commitment to aligning our portfolio with brands that resonate with today’s travelers,” said Derek Sylvestor, owner/development, Gulph Creek Hotels. “City Express by Marriott brings a fresh, efficient hospitality model to King of Prussia, and we are excited to introduce guests to a trusted Marriott experience in one of Pennsylvania’s strongest lodging markets.”

City Express by Marriott was introduced in the U.S. following Marriott International’s acquisition of the City Express brand portfolio, expanding Marriott’s reach into the midscale segment with a focus on simplicity, consistency and value-driven travel experiences.

The King of Prussia location within the mixed-use Gulph Creek Promenade will appeal to a broad range of guests, including corporate travelers, regional visitors, group business and families visiting the greater Philadelphia area.

“Our team worked diligently to ensure a seamless transition while enhancing the overall guest experience,” said Ronald Balle, VP, sales and marketing, Gulph Creek Hotels. “We look forward to welcoming both loyal returning guests and new Marriott Bonvoy members to the hotel.”
