Wilson Associates Names Head of New Bangkok Office

BANGKOK—Architecture and interior design firm Wilson Associates has named Ong-Art Ngamnarongkij as the head of  the firm’s new Bangkok studio, which will focus on architecture and design specifically of resort projects.
Formerly head of design at Blink’s Bangkok studio, he will now serve as design director, architecture, for the newest Wilson Associates office. His primary responsibilities are conceptualizing the overall design direction of a given project; interpreting the owner’s requirements to create a holistic, integrated and timeless design that reflects the client’s vision and operator’s brand standards; and responding to the specific nuances of the target demographic, as well as the project’s location, history, culture, budget and schedule.
Ngamnarongkij will be involved in each stage of design, working closely with the project team internally and externally to ensure consistency and conformity with the agreed upon design direction. He will be a primary point-of-contact along with key members of his design team.
Ngamnarongkij’s legacy in architecture design is visible in hotels, spas, resorts and residences throughout Southeast Asia and China. Prior to joining Wilson Associates, he designed luxury hotels for brands such as Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton and W Hotels.
