Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués Joins Interval International
Interval International has added Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués in Acapulco to its global exchange network. The luxury resort, Grupo Mexicano de Desarrollo’s latest property, is located within an exclusive master-planned residential community about eight miles from downtown Acapulco on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.

Hilton Grand Vacations Promotes Yoshifumi Furusawa to VP of Asia Marketing
Hilton Grand Vacations has promoted Yoshifumi Furusawa to VP of Asia marketing. In his new role, Furusawa will be responsible for local marketing and partnership strategy and execution for the Asia region.

Furusawa has more than 20 years of marketing experience in Japan and abroad. He joined HGV in 2008 as senior manager of marketing and further developed his career by taking on increasingly progressive roles in the marketing department. Prior to HGV, Furusawa worked for Wincubic in Hawaii, where he oversaw marketing services catered to Asia markets.

Interval International Adds Ninth Plaza Hotéis Property in Brazil
Interval International has added Plaza Barra First in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This property joins eight Plaza Vacation Club resorts that are currently part of Interval’s exchange network and are located in some of the country’s popular vacation destinations. Plaza Vacation Club is owned and operated by Plaza Hotéis, one of Brazil’s leading hotel brands.
