NATIONAL REPORT—In the U.S., city debuts and brand expansions are among the latest hotel activity. Here’s a look at recent openings:

Generator Expands Brand in the U.S.
Generator is expanding its North American presence with Generator Washington DC. The multiphase opening will be led with the debut of the property’s guestrooms this month, followed by the completion of its social spaces and food and beverage venues in spring 2020. The brand’s newest property is additionally designed with Washington, DC business travelers in mind, incorporating more private rooms than any of its existing properties—376 beds in 148 rooms—and meeting spaces. The property will also have an outdoor pool and a fitness center.

Home2 Suites Opens in New York
Dimension Development has opened the Home2 Suites by Hilton Long Island Brookhaven in New York. The hotel has 146 all-suite accommodations with fully equipped kitchens. The property also has Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area, Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items and the Inspired Table, a complimentary breakfast. Guests also have access to an indoor pool and outdoor grill area.

Fairfield by Marriott Debuts in Williamstown, MA
The 94-room Fairfield by Marriott hotel in Williamstown, MA, is now open. The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Williamstown will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Berkshire Hotels Group. The hotel has access to MASS MoCA, Williams College, Jiminy Ski Peak and the Clark Art Institute. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a courtyard with a fire pit, business services and 550 sq. ft. of meeting space.
