The hotel team enlisted Harman Professional Solutions to customize and install a luxurious listening environment befitting of this high-end resort on the coast of the South China Sea.
“This destination on the ocean has beautiful scenery that surrounds it. It’s a place that hosts entertainment events in a very iconic location. For the hotel team, having the right sound was essential for the guest experience, in terms of both the ballroom and public spaces as people walk around the facility,” said Ramesh Jayaraman, VP & GM, Harman Professional Solutions, APAC. “An iconic location needed to have an iconic sound from a company with notable brands, such as Harman, JBL, AKG and others.”
The Harman Professional Solutions audio system is composed of JBL Professional speakers and power amplifiers, AKG microphones and BSS signal processors.
“For the custom solution, they were look at distributing a large number of audio channels for multiple spaces. That was a critical part of what they needed to do. It needed to be the right use for the right spaces,” said Jayaraman. “Looking at the entire facility, the audio is now very easily distributed and controlled throughout.”
Jayaraman noted that what makes Harman stand out as an audio provider is its diversity of product solutions.
“One of the unique things about Harman is that we are an amalgamation of brands that bring the full solution together for hotel companies to use across a region,” he said. “In Asia-Pacific, we see hoteliers trying to leverage all of the solutions in one place.
