Everwood Hospitality Partners has taken over management of a Tapestry Collection hotel in New Orleans, while Benchmark Pyramid has added another property in the Pacific Northwest.
Everwood assumes management of Troubadour Hotel New Orleans
Everwood Hospitality Partners (EHP), a hotel owner/operator with a portfolio of lifestyle, full- and select-service hotels nationwide, has assumed management of the 184-room Troubadour Hotel New Orleans, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
The four-star property (pictured above) is close to the French Quarter, Saenger Theatre, Bourbon St., Caesars Superdome and the Smoothie King Center. Amenities include a 24/7 fitness center, complimentary WiFi, nearly 1,400 sq. ft. of meeting space and a business center., as well as four F&B outlets. Each guestroom is equipped with a 42-in. flat-screen television with premium cable channels, signature cocktail bar setup and a specialty minibar.
The hotel is on pace to complete a major refurbishment this summer. To date, the hotel has renovated the lobby, the bar space on the first floor and the Jayne Bistro. It is close to finishing the other dining options and fitness areas. Additionally, the company is finalizing plans to completely reconceive the hotel’s rooftop bar as an elevated indoor/outdoor space to take advantage of New Orleans’ demand for year-round special events.
Benchmark Pyramid adds Riverhouse on the Deschutes to portfolio
Global hospitality company Benchmark Pyramid has assumed management of Riverhouse on the Deschutes, a riverfront hotel on the Deschutes River in Bend, OR.
With the river as its backdrop, the 221-room hotel features Oregon’s largest convention center east of the Cascades, accommodating up to 1,600 guests. Other amenities include CURRENTS, the hotel’s signature restaurant and Drift Spa. Guestrooms include fireplaces and private patios or balconies.
Riverhouse is the third Pacific Northwest travel destination within the Benchmark Pyramid portfolio, joining Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA, and Willows Lodge in Woodinville, WA, with other regional properties including YOTELPAD Park City in Park City, UT, and Snow King Resort in Jackson, WY, also a draw for travelers.
