Two Marriott brands have opened hotels in Northern California’s Silicon Valley.
TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection
The TETRA Hotel, an Autograph Collection hotel (pictured above), has opened close to San Jose International Airport and other nearby attractions such as Levi’s Stadium, Shoreline Amphitheater and the Santa Clara Convention Center.
TETRA acts as a leisure hub in conjunction with its sister property, AC Hotel by Marriott Sunnyvale Moffett Park. Connecting the two properties is the Nexus, which offers an indoor/outdoor communal and art space with sculptures created by artist David Franklin. Three distinct seating areas are available and will feature rotating pop-up activations, from wine tasting and a lending library to artist talks and more.
The hotel features 186 guestrooms, including 14 suites across eight floors. The rooms include luxury bathroom amenities from MiN NY, Dyson Supersonic hair dryers and Bellino Fine Linen hooded robes and custom jersey knit slippers.
Amenities include an outdoor, heated pool surrounded by olive trees, a fitness center, complimentary electric car charging stations, 9,000 sq. ft. meeting and event space and multiple food & beverage outlets.
Element by Westin San Jose Milpitas
Element by Westin San Jose Milpitas has opened in Milpitas, CA, in Silicon Valley. The 194-suite, eco-focused hotel is owned by Dynamic City Capital and managed by Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group.
Located five miles from San Jose International Airport and seven miles from downtown San Jose, the five-story hotel is close to California’s Great America theme park, the San Jose Museum of Art, Levi’s Stadium, LEGOLAND Discovery Center and numerous Fortune 500 companies headquartered in the Silicon Valley area.
All suites include a fully equipped kitchen, workspace, spa-inspired bathrooms, the signature Heavenly Bed and high-speed WiFi, as well as streaming services through the HDTV.
Amenities include the complimentary Rise breakfast every morning and the Relax evening reception held Monday- Thursday in the lobby, as well as the Motion Fitness center, a heated outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor patio with barbecue grills, 630 sq. ft. of meeting space, the 24/7 Restore gourmet pantry and electric-vehicle charging stations.
