NATIONAL REPORT—Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Twenty Four Seven Hotels and Crescent Hotels & Resorts are all making moves in management. Here’s more on the recent deals:
Interstate Adds Three to its Portfolio in Salt Lake City, UT
Interstate Hotels & Resorts has added three new premium branded hotels to its portfolio—the Courtyard by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown, Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Downtown and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown in Salt Lake City, UT.
Interstate Hotels & Resorts currently manages five properties in the greater Salt Lake City area, extending its portfolio to eight properties. With a central location with access to destinations, the Courtyard and Hyatt House are directly adjacent to one another and close to the the Fairfield Inn, the Gateway Mall, Vivint Smart Home Arena, Salt Palace Convention Center, the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art and Clark Planetarium.
The Courtyard by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown has 175 guestrooms, including 15 suites, a new lobby, The Bistro and an evening bar, a fitness center, indoor pool and whirlpool and more than 5,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space.
The Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Downtown has 159 guestrooms, including residentially inspired suites with fully equipped kitchens, an outdoor grilling area and three separate meeting rooms with more than 1,775 sq. ft. of space for events. There’s also a business and fitness center, grab groceries from the H Market and craft cocktails and bar bites at H Bar 24-hours a day.
The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown has 120 guestrooms, a lobby providing guests with free WiFi and spaces to work or relax, fitness center, heated indoor pool and whirlpool and 950 sq. ft. of flexible event space.
Twenty Four Seven Hotels Signs Management Contract for TownePlace Suites Merced
Twenty Four Seven Hotels is opening its fifth TownePlace Suites Hotel by Marriott International and its first management contract with Shiv Properties LLC. This new property has studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens as well as separate living/working and sleeping areas. Partnering with the Container Store, the interior design package of the TownePlace Suites Merced also offers a storage system in the custom Elfa closet.
The new Merced, CA hotel is the third Marriott brand hotel to open in the area, including the SpringHill Suites and Courtyard Hotel already established in town. The new hotel has access to the University of California Merced and California State University Stanislaus.
Hotel amenities include food and beverage options, an outdoor swimming pool, an exercise room open 24-hours per day, self-serve laundry facilities, complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel and on-site business services.
Crescent Hotels & Resorts Adds DoubleTree Suites Philadelphia West
The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia West is now being managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts.
The 253 all-suite hotel is located on the Plymouth Meeting Executive Campus and is adjacent to Plymouth Meeting Mall, near King of Prussia Mall and downtown Philadelphia. The hotel offers all-suite accommodations featuring private bedroom and separate living area, complimentary parking and complimentary WiFi. The hotel also has the Atrium Café, an indoor pool, fully equipped fitness center and 13 event spaces with room for up to 250 attendees.
