Three hotels under new management

TPG Hotels, Resorts & Marinas, Lodging Dynamics and Cresent Hotels & Resorts have added new properties to their portfolios.

TPG adds Kimpton Overland Airport Hotel
As mentioned in the February issue of Hotel Business, TPG Hotels, Resorts & Marinas has been selected to manage the Kimpton Overland Airport Hotel in Atlanta.

The property (shown above), owned by ACRON (USA), is located adjacent to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Porche’s North American headquarters. Developed in conjunction with Porsche’s Atlanta corporate campus and Driver Experience Center, the hotel has not only the same design aesthetic as the famed car company’s headquarters but also a formal and exclusive business relationship.

Originally opened in 2017, and then converted to a Kimpton in 2019 following a $1.25-million renovation, the hotel features 214 guestrooms, inclusive of 28 suites, more than 7,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and two restaurants, including the one-of-a-kind Rooftop at the Overland, which occupies the Kimpton’s eighth-floor and features views overlooking Porsche’s 1.6-mile Driver Development Track and the takeoffs and landings on the airport’s nearby runways.

Lodging Dynamics selected to manage AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach
Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group has been appointed to manage the AC Hotel by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach. This hotel is the third Florida hotel Lodging Dynamics has added to its portfolio, following two Clearwater Beach hotels in December 2021.

The newly constructed, 10-story hotel has 171 rooms, a cocktail lounge, European-inspired breakfast service and 1,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Located across the street from the beach, the hotel features views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Crescent now managing The Bethesdan Hotel
Crescent Hotels & Resorts has added The Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Bethesda, MD, to its Latitudes Collection.

The 270-room hotel, located close to the city’s business district and a mile from Walter Reed Military Medical Center, recently completed a $20-million renovation.

The property features more than 13,500 sq. ft. of event space, Leo & Liv restaurant and Leo & GO gourmet coffee shop.
