Three hotels open across the U.S.

Recent openings in the U.S. include a Courtyard by Marriott in San Diego; a Red Roof Inn in Walton, KY; and a SureStay Plus property in Central Florida.

Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Miramar
The Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Miramar has opened its doors after an extensive renovation and rebranding. The hotel, formerly a Holiday Inn, was rebranded in Courtyard’s latest Generation 6.5 design standards.

For the hotel’s exterior, architect Margit E. Whitlock of Architectural Concepts Inc. drew inspiration from the Spanish Revival style of architect Irving J. Gill. The theme extends into the outdoor pool area, which incorporates custom decorative tile work in a gray and blue vintage Spanish motif.

Guestrooms feature the Courtyard brand’s latest generation of design and amenities, including spa-like showers and premium bath amenities; flexible workspaces with ergonomic chairs; 55-in. flat-screen TVs and complimentary WiFi. There are 15 suites with king-sized beds, living areas, microwaves, refrigerators and toasters. Hotel amenities include The Bistro dining establishment, The Crate offers a self-service kiosk, a fitness center and event space including the Miramar Ballroom.

The hotel is located near MCAS Miramar Base, UC San Diego, Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve and Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Red Roof Inn Walton – Richwood
Red Roof has opened the Red Roof Inn Walton – Richwood located in Walton, KY. The pet-friendly property offers free coffee in the lobby, free in-room WiFi and expanded cable.

Located near Florence Speedway and Shor Lake Park, the Red Roof Inn Walton – Richwood is also close to the Florence Malls and Bullock Pen Lake for outdoor activities, as well as Brianza Gardens & Winery and the Boone County Distilling Company.

SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western The Villages
Having recently completed a $1.5-million renovation, the SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western The Villages has opened its doors in Lady Lake, FL.

Located in the historic area of Spanish Springs in The Villages, the hotel features 46 guestrooms, each with balconies, flat-screen televisions, microwaves and mini fridges. The property also has an outdoor pool, guest laundry facilities and complimentary printing, faxing and scanning services, as well as complimentary hot breakfast and free wireless internet.

The updated hotel is near Spanish Springs Town Square and 60-plus golf courses, such as Hacienda Hills and Orange Blossom Hills.
