These linens bring even more luxury to the St. Regis brand

MILAN—St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is collaborating with Italian linen brand Frette to bring guests unparalleled comfort and luxury. Frette 1860 for St. Regis is a range of linens created especially for the St. Regis brand and a tribute to Caroline Astor, mother of St. Regis founder John Jacob Astor IV and doyenne of New York’s Gilded Age society.

Just beginning its global rollout, the collection is currently available in properties across North America and will also be featured at The St. Regis Hong Kong when it opens early next year.

“Guests will soon have the opportunity to experience the collection firsthand at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts around the world, whether they are traveling for a business trip in Abu Dhabi, a ski trip in Aspen, a family vacation in Rome or a honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta,” said Filippo Arnaboldi, CEO of Frette. “With a shared commitment to excellence and quality, we believed collaborating on a range of fine linens together would further elevate the exquisite experience for which St. Regis is renowned.”

The collection includes 400 thread-count cotton sateen linens and a luxe white-on-white jacquard duvet cover; a selection of wool and cashmere throws; and bathrobes, slippers and pajamas, all showcasing a bespoke diamond pattern, a nod to Mrs. Astor’s love for the gemstone.

Not solely predicated on luxury, the collection’s bedding delivers at-home comfort with all the opulence of an upscale hotel stay.

“For many, the most time spent within their hotel room during a stay is for the purpose of sleep. When away from home—whether it be for business or leisure—there is no greater luxury than a comfortable and restful night’s sleep,” Arnaboldi said.

St. Regis aims to give guests a restful night every night, as it can set the tone for an entire vacation or trip.

“If you’re tossing and turning, chances are it will impact your day exploring a new city or board meeting presentation the next day,” said Lisa Holladay, global brand leader for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. “Increasingly, our guests are also placing a priority on wellness and self-care, and getting a good night sleep is an important component to that.”

Guests can take this comfort home with them as well, with products available for purchase on the hotel brand’s online boutique.

“For those who wish to recreate the experience they enjoy during each stay at St. Regis, this exclusive collection offers the ability to bring a little piece of St. Regis into their homes,” Arnaboldi said.

Holladay said that Frette products are renowned for trendsetting style and design, while also utilizing the finest materials available, including the use of extra-long staples of cotton. Making these items available for online purchase is a convenient way to deliver these products to those who may not have experienced them during a hotel stay.

“There is no better feeling than falling into a perfectly made bed with the most luxurious sheets, and with this collection, Frette has managed to capture the St. Regis hotel experience for guests to take home with them and enjoy every evening,” Holladay said.

With similar values and histories, the collaboration was a no-brainer for both brands. Arnaboldi said the duo seemed a natural fit, as both brands possess distinct heritages, each defined by a devotion to quality, craftsmanship and innovation, providing an uncompromising level of service to clients and guests alike.

Holladay agreed, noting commitment to quality and service. “Frette and St. Regis have an authentic connection, being like-minded brands that not only recognize the importance of heritage but are also committed to ensuring that their heritage inspires the present and future,” she said. “Both brands are committed to providing unparalleled experiences to clientele through impeccable attention to detail and a dedication to the highest quality of craftsmanship.” HB
