Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has partnered with Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and its Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate (HMCC) program, making Sonesta the first major hotel company to certify employees across its full-service portfolio, making them HMCC Verified Venues.
As part of this initiative, all full-service Sonesta hotels have undergone the HMCC Verified Venue training ensuring that the employees are equipped for the hosting of medical meetings and groups. Medical meetings require a unique approach due to complex global regulations and the stringent compliance guidelines set by pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies.

This partnership with MPI is valid for two years, during which Sonesta will work closely with industry professionals to ensure continuous education and adherence to evolving healthcare meeting regulations, it reports.
