Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has opened the ACP Hotel Houston Westchase, MOD Collection by Sonesta. This 120-room hotel in Houston marks the soft brand’s first location in the U.S. and second in North America.
“The opening of ACP Hotel Houston Westchase, MOD Collection by Sonesta is the soft brand’s first opening in the United States since it debuted in 2023,” said Keith Pierce, Sonesta’s EVP/president, franchise & development. “This significant milestone underscores our efforts to expand Sonesta’s portfolio with an approach informed by strategic market analysis and our unique understanding of consumer demand in key destinations like Houston.”
Hotel amenities include an outdoor pool and hot tub, 1,200 sq. ft. of meeting space, a fitness center, The Garden Grille Restaurant, an all-day restaurant offering free breakfast, a business center and laundry facilities.
Located in the Westchase neighborhood, the hotel is located two miles from Houston Baptist University and the Arena Theater, and is close to the Houston Grand Opera, Meyerland Park, CityCentre and The Galleria mall.
The first property to debut under the MOD brand was Hotel 11, MOD Collection by Sonesta, located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which opened at the end of 2023.
