NATIONAL REPORT—Properties across the U.S. are revamping spaces, adding environmentally friendly amenities and offering local insights. Here are some renovations to watch:

San Francisco Property Undergoes Full Renovation with Green Amenities

The 400-room Stanford Court Hotel has been newly reimagined with remodeled guestrooms and corridors, a redesigned lobby, updated meeting spaces, the addition of a fitness center in a glass “greenhouse” environment, as well as new local partnerships and programming.

Partnerships with San Francisco brands include Daylighted digital art installations; Kinima.fit virtual personal training and Peloton training bikes in the fitness center; and a tech library. New, green amenities include Blix Electric Bikes, FloWater filling stations, low-flow toilets, electric vehicle charging stations and access to electronic magazines and newspapers through PressReader.

The hotel also launched Seven Stills Nob Hill, a social space driven by craft beer and whiskey tastings from local craft brewer and distiller Seven Stills.

Marriott Las Colinas Completes Phase I of Renovation

Marriott Las Colinas in Dallas has completed Phase I of a multimillion-dollar renovation that includes all guestrooms. Phase II is underway to include public and meeting spaces, the restaurant, bar/lounge and the Marriott signature greatroom lobby.

The renovation style incorporates the rustic Texas heritage of Las Colinas’ ranching industry, drawing inspiration from the region’s rolling hills with the use of wood, stone, leather and wrought iron that will patina over time. Marriott Las Colinas’ renovation will be complete in the fall of this year.

Boston Hotel Adds Suite Complete With Amenities

The Boston Harbor Hotel debuts the John Adams Presidential Suite. The two-bedroom private suite has views of Boston Harbor and personalized service and amenities.

The suite has 4,800 sq. ft. of space with a private entrance and non-stop elevator for privacy. There are  floor-to-ceiling windows and a 1,000-sq.-ft. private open air terrace with outdoor seating, custom sound system and outdoor heating. With the option to add one or two additional adjoining guestrooms, the suite welcomes the company of up to eight adults. The space was designed by Smith Firestone Associates.

In addition, the suite has a modern kitchen and butler’s pantry, a private bar and dining area, media room and private transportation services.

Little America Hotel Updates Guestrooms

Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ completed the third and final phase of the hotel’s reimagining, with 123 remodeled guestrooms in Lodges 1 and 2.

The two-and-a-half-year renovation project transformed all 247 guestrooms across four Lodges—a mix of king, double queen and luxury suites—and included property wide upgrades to the lobby, retail shop, Silver Pine Restaurant & Bar, new outdoor patio and more than 13,000 sq. ft. of contemporary meeting space.
