Rosewood appoints Frederic Vidal

Rosewood Hotel Group has appointed Frederic Vidal as VP, operations, Americas.

He is responsible for leading the group’s commercial and business strategies in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America. Under his leadership, Rosewood will bolster the brand’s presence and positioning in this key region by continuing to grow and evolve the group’s performance, drive operational excellence and build meaningful customer and owner relationships, the company reports.

Vidal brings more than 30 years of experience managing luxury hotels and private residences, including eight years with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. He began his career at Rosewood as managing director for Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort in 2014. He expanded his role in 2019 when he became regional VP overseeing five of the collection’s properties across the Americas including Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, Rosewood São Paulo, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi and his home property of Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort. Prior to joining Rosewood, he worked in managerial positions for other brands including Les Thermes Marins de Monte Carlo and MAIA Luxury Resort & Spa.
