Ridgeline Hospitality Group launched

Principals Gary Scott and Chris Cosenza have formed Ridgeline Hospitality Group, a full-service hospitality company focused on helping investors with hotel, casino and hospitality acquisitions, project development and asset management.

“The range of our hospitality experience encompasses hotel operations; gaming; F&B; finance; marketing; entertainment and nightlife; design and development; and construction oversight,” said Scott. “We are highly experienced in day-to-day operations of small properties and large-scale integrated resorts. We have spent the past four years working with investors and brand partners on a highly complex and nuanced asset at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The complexity of this project was enormous being that it encompassed all aspects of the property resulting in a $300-million rebranding and renovation effort.”

Scott is a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry where he has held various executive and C-suite roles with MGM Resorts, Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas and JC Hospitality. Prior to starting Ridgeline, he served as the COO for JC Hospitality, the ownership group of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, where he oversaw development and property operations.

Cosenza said, “With a vast range of established, high-level industry relationships across a number of best-in-class brands, we can collaborate with your teams to maximize returns on your asset, no matter how sophisticated the structure or difficult the partnership may be.”

Cosenza’s career spanned multiple industries starting with a tech start-up, a privately held entrepreneurial entity and an 11-year career with Ameristar Casinos, where he worked in leadership positions within entertainment, nightlife, player development, guest experience, strategic development and iGaming. He also worked for JC Hospitality, where he was the SVP of strategy & development.
