Red Roof promotes three execs

Red Roof has promoted three executives  to fill key roles in the organization.

“We are fortunate to have extraordinary people all across our organization,” said George Limbert, president, Red Roof. “These three leaders are emblematic of the strength and talent in this organization. All three will play pivotal roles in the dynamic growth and development of our brands.”

John Park has been promoted to VP, finance. He joined Red Roof in 2018 as director of financial planning and analysis. He is integral to managing complex budgets and works across all departments to ensure the company’s financial objectives are met, the company reports. He has also been instrumental in helping the company navigate the financial challenges of the last year. He will be a central leader in tracking results and capital performance as Red Roof moves forward in both growth and improved profitability.

Michael Sharp has been promoted to VP, procurement, design and construction. He joined the Red Roof design and construction team 10 years ago in 2011. He oversees all property improvement plans and is responsible for procuring the furniture, fixtures and equipment, as well as all operating supplies for the company. His leadership of the Red Roof design and construction department puts him at the center of all interior and exterior design concepts for existing and onboarding franchisees. That includes the new prototype construction for both the Red Roof Inn brands and the HomeTowne Studios properties.

Steve Woodward has been promoted to VP, quality, training and development. He joined Red Roof in 2015 to work on training and staff development. He has spent more than 30 years in the hospitality industry. He will be instrumental in the skills development that franchisees and operators depend on to deliver a quality experience to guests across the spectrum of Red Roof brands, the company reports.

“Red Roof has deep bench-strength, and we are fortunate to have these integral leaders move into mission-critical roles for us,” Limbert added. “We are proud to have them on our team and as a part of our extended Red Roof family.”
