Radisson Signs Hotel Deals in Germany and Poland

INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has signed agreements for new hotels in Germany and Poland. Here’s a look:

RHG and Bülow AG Sign Deal for Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart

RHG and Bülow AG have signed an agreement for a new Radisson Blu hotel at the Porsche Design Tower in Stuttgart, Germany.

The design of the Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart was developed in close collaboration with Studio F. A. Porsche, Zell am See. The 168-room hotel will be near the global headquarters of Bosch, Porsche and Mahle.

The hotel facilities will occupy the upper stories of the tower, from the ninth to the 23rd floor. In addition, the Radisson Blu Hotel at Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart will have 10 flexible meeting and events rooms. The restaurant and bar on the 10th floor will offer two large rooftop terraces.

RHG Signs Agreement with Zdrojowa Invest & Hotels for Poland

RHG has entered into an agreement with Zdrojowa Invest & Hotels group for two new-build Radisson resorts in Poland. The hotels span the country, from the foothills of the Karkonosze Mountains in Szklarska Poręba to the northern Baltic coast in Kołobrzeg. The hotels will be part of the upscale Radisson brand, bringing the group’s portfolio in Poland to 18 properties across five brands—including Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson and Park Inn by Radisson.

The two companies have been partners since the 2017 opening of the Radisson Blu Resort, Świnoujście.

The Radisson Resort Szklarska Poręba is the second Radisson-branded hotel to arrive in Poland and the first internationally branded in this destination. The property will be located in the mountain town of Szkalrska Poręba. Due to open in the upcoming winter season, the new-build hotel will have 104 guestrooms, additional rooms and apartments are planned in a second phase. It will also have a compact water park, all-year outdoor jacuzzi, sauna and bath zone. The Spa & Wellness zone provides a relaxing atmosphere all year round.

The opening for the Radisson Resort Kołobrzeg, Poland’s third Radisson-branded hotel is planned for summer 2020. It will be the first hotel under an international hotel brand in one of the biggest Polish seaside resorts. The 209-room facility, located in the spa area, will ensure comfortable relaxation and entertainment, along with a water park.

The properties will be operated by Zdrojowa Hotels under an international franchise agreement with Radisson Hospitality AB.
