Radisson, IHG Brands Make Their Debuts Abroad

INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Radisson Hotel Group and IHG have opened hotels in new locations abroad. They are:

Radisson Collection Hotel, Bamako
Radisson Hotel Group has opened Radisson Collection Hotel, Bamako, the brand’s debut in Africa. Located in Bamako, the capital and largest city of Mali, in the ACI 2000 neighborhood, the hotel is 20 minutes from Modibo Keita International Airport and in close proximity to the city’s embassies, corporate headquarters and government precinct.

The hotel consists of 200 rooms, including 32 suites and three accessible rooms, offering panoramic views over the Niger River and the lush green hillside dotted with mango tree plantations, as well as the pool and city skyline.

Amenities include four restaurants and bars, a pool, a 24-hour fitness center and 11 meeting rooms with more than 11,840 sq. ft. (1,100 sq. m.) of flexible event space.

Holiday Inn Express Kota Kinabalu City Centre
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has launched the first IHG hotel in East Malaysia, Holiday Inn Express Kota Kinabalu City Centre, in the heart of Sabah’s capital city.

The 250-room hotel comprises queen and twin-bedded rooms, with the option of rooms with a sofa bed that can accommodate up to three guests. They offer power showers with a multi-function shower head, 43-inch flat-screen TVs and complimentary coffee- and tea-making facilities. Hotel amenities include Free Express Start breakfast at the brand’s signature Great Room or a Grab & Go breakfast option; free WiFi throughout the hotel; a 24-hour fitness center; a self-service business center and laundry room; and a meeting room that seats up to 12 people.
