Properties Debut in the East

NATIONAL REPORT—Three hotels have opened their doors in the eastern half of the U.S., including two Marriott properties. Here’s a look:  

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Debuts in Tuckahoe, NY
The SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Tuckahoe, NY, has recently opened.

The 153-suite hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Bilwin Development Affiliates of Westchester, NY, and managed by Concord Hospitality Enterprises, based in Raleigh, NC.

Located in the Village of Tuckahoe at the halfway point between New York City and the Lower Hudson Valley, the SpringHill Suites Tuckahoe Westchester County offers guests access to the Ridge Hill Mall, the Bronx River Walkway, Winged Foot Golf Club—home of the 2020 U.S. Open—and numerous shopping, dining and entertainment options.

Residence Inn by Marriott Hotel Opens in Midlothian, VA
The 111-suite Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond West hotel in Midlothian, VA, recently opened with upscale, stylish decor that offers flexibility and a unique environment.

The all-suite property will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Shamin Hotels Incorporated and managed by Shamin Hotels of Chester, VA. Located steps from the Johnston-Willis Hospital and 20 minutes from downtown Richmond, the Residence Inn Richmond West/Midlothian offers its guests access to Richmond Ice Zone, Huguenot Park, Chesterfield Towne Center and River City Sportsplex.

The Residence Inn Richmond West/Midlothian offers studio and one-bedroom suites, as well as functional space for guests.

Cambria Hotel St Petersburg-Madeira Beach Marina Opens
Cambria Hotels, an upscale brand franchised by Choice Hotels International Inc., continues its expansion with the opening of the Cambria Hotel St. Petersburg – Madeira Beach Marina.

The five-story, 125-room hotel joins the Cambria Hotel Ft. Lauderdale Airport South & Cruise Port and the Cambria Hotel Miami Airport – Blue Lagoon as the brand’s third location in Florida.

The waterfront hotel is located in Madeira Beach Town Center, near leisure attractions such as John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk, the Salvador Dali Museum, Florida Botanical Gardens and War Veterans Memorial Park. There are several scenic beaches within walking distance, including Madeira Beach, Archibald Beach Park and Redington Beach.

The property’s location also provides easy access to major area employers and company headquarters, including the Home Shopping Network, Spectrum, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and the University of South Florida.
