Peachtree Group has added two executives to its leadership team, while HVMG has named an industry veteran to a design & development role and Dream Hotel Group has a new corporate chef.
Peachtree Group strengthens executive team
Peachtree Group has bolstered its executive leadership team with the promotion of Brian Waldman to chief investment officer and the appointment of Jeremy Stoler to EVP, debt capital markets.
In these roles, Waldman will manage Peachtree’s multibillion-dollar investment portfolio and direct investment strategies across its distinct operating, lending and real estate divisions, while Stoler will focus on supporting Peachtree’s operating companies and growth into other real estate sectors.

Throughout his 20-plus-year career, Waldman has had experience investing and managing a broad range of asset and portfolio types. He joined Peachtree in 2015 and has contributed significantly to Peachtree’s growth and investment performance, according to the company. During his tenure, he has overseen hundreds of transactions with a gross asset value of roughly $6 billion.
“Brian has extensive investment and portfolio management experience and an in-depth understanding of the investment process,” said Jatin Desai, CFO/managing principal, Peachtree. “We are delighted to have Brian serve as our new CIO, and we believe his experience, skills and leadership will be of great value to the company and help Peachtree achieve the next stage of significant growth.”
Stoler has spent his 25-year career in real estate handling securitization and fund management and originating more than $30 billion of mortgage debt. Prior to joining Peachtree, he founded a real estate advisory firm for institutional clients. Before that, Stoler was EVP/head of capital markets for a family office. He led and directed acquisitions and financings in this position, completing approximately $1 billion across multiple real estate sectors.

HVMG names James J. Haggerty VP, design & development
Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based, private hotel investment, ownership and management company, has appointed Jim Haggerty to VP, design & development.
“With nearly two decades of hospitality experience across multiple private and public platforms, Jim is the ideal candidate to lead our renovation, project management and new development activities, especially given his architectural experience,” said Robert Cole, president/CEO, HVMG. “Jim’s experience will add to HVMG’s ability to provide a full scope of services to our owners and partners. Prior to joining HVMG, Haggerty most recently served as SVP, brand development with Atlantic City, NJ-based Vivamee Hospitality. While there, he led the acquisition and redevelopment of multiple properties, including the $30-million Renault Winery & Golf Resort and the 220-acre Kent Island Resort, directing all real estate development activities. He was also director of design & construction, Choice Hotels and VP, capital management, Aimbridge Hospitality. Haggerty also worked as acting facilities chief/facility program manager for the U.S. Federal Courts where he provided experienced oversight of several federally owned properties, including the Thurgood Marshall Building and the U.S. Supreme Court facility located on the U.S. Capitol Complex grounds campus.
Dream Hotel Group names Marc Marrone corporate chef
Hotel brand and management company Dream Hotel Group has named Marc Marrone to the role of corporate chef overseeing culinary operations, menu development, creative concepting and strategic execution of proprietary dining and nightlife offerings at new locations worldwide.

Dream Hotel Group recently broke ground on Dream Las Vegas, where Chef Marrone currently resides and will oversee culinary operations for the 531-room hotel’s seven new restaurants and bars set to open in 2025. He will also oversee food and beverage programming for three international projects currently under construction: Cas en Bas Beach Resort by Dream Hotel Group in Saint Lucia, Dream Doha Hotel & Residences in Qatar and Dream Valle de Guadalupe in Mexico
