Peachtree Hospitality Management (PHM) has appointed Kathleen (Kat) James as VP, sales, responsible for managing and overseeing the sales strategies that support the overall profitability and growth of PHM’s portfolio of hotels. She reports to Vickie Callahan, PHM’s SVP, revenue generation.
“[Kat’s] depth and breadth of sales experience make her the ideal leader as we further expand our growing footprint,” said Callahan. “[She] will play an integral role in executing our sales initiatives and evolving our revenue strategies.”
James, who has spent more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, has experience overseeing sales and marketing for national hotel brands and management companies. Before joining Peachtree, she was senior director of sales and head of focused service sales for Sonesta. She also held leadership positions with Starwood Hotels & Reports, InterContinental Hotels Group and LodgeWorks.
