Morgan promoted to JMC Global president
JMC Global LLC has named Kelly Morgan as the company’s president/general manager. She formerly held the positions of president of hospitality sales, VP of project operations and other key positions during her 15-year career with the company.

Before joining JMC Global, Morgan worked in international logistics for commodities and other time-critical projects. She has extensive experience in logistics documentation, U.S. Customs process and air-freight forwarding.

Her position involves all aspects of the JMC’s performance, including sales, business operations, human resources and accounting. She has the experience, professionalism and perspicuity to continue to build on JMC’s leadership as a highly competent logistics provider in the project management and specialized logistics space, according to the company.

Morgan will continue to report to CEO Linda Crawley.

Utah Courtyard adopts Assa Abloy door locks
Assa Abloy Global Solutions has been selected by Courtyard by Marriott St. George in St. George, UT, to enhance its guest safety, convenience and operational efficiency abilities with VingCard Classic RFID door locks equipped with Mobile Access.

After an upgrade process lasting no longer than one week, the 131-guestroom property can now ensure maximum guest safety using the latest in lock security encryption while providing each guest with the contactless convenience of digital check-in and room access using personal devices as a secure key. With the future-proof technology approach of Assa Abloy Global Solutions, Courtyard St. George can also leverage VingCard Classic RFID’s IoT compatibility to streamline hotel maintenance needs in addition to significantly reducing the cost of energy expenses.

Enseo reaches female leader milestone
Enseo celebrated International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month as it reached the milestone of 50% women on its executive team. It recently added Kris Singleton as chief information officer and Lindsay Robertson as chief marketing officer, while other senior executives include Vanessa Ogle, founder/CEO; Kristin Reichert, CFO; Katy Ericson, VP, human resources; and Helen Jenkins, general counsel.

According to the company, it supports and encourages diversity, putting efforts to find the best fit for the job, including working mothers who are often overlooked for key positions at many tech firms. Enseo has a team that has attracted outstanding women because of a culture that allows them to be outstanding as women, devoted to their families and communities.

Duetto grows EMEA portfolio by 40,000 rooms
Duetto added 250 hotels and 40,000 hotel rooms to its EMEA portfolio last year, taking the number of hotel rooms on the platform in the region to more than 225,000.

Hotel brands joining Duetto included First Hotels, Generator & Freehand Hotels, Gorgeous Smiling Hotels, Hoteis Real and Prizeotel/Radisson Hotels.

Generator & Freehand Hotels is now optimizing every booking with Duetto’s GameChanger pricing application and benefiting from increased efficiencies using ScoreBoard for reporting and forecasting. In the Nordics, leadership at First Hotels used the first lockdown to appraise its tech stack and is now undergoing a phased Duetto integration across its portfolio of properties in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Stoney Creek Hospitality partners with IDeaS
IDeaS will implement its G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) at Stoney Creek Hospitality’s 14-property portfolio across five Midwestern states.

Seeking to overhaul manual operations with advanced automation, Stoney Creek’s leadership team launched a digital transformation initiative in 2020. Placing critical importance on the RMS’s role in the hotel tech stack, Stoney Creek selected IDeaS for precision forecasting, agile room-type pricing and automated decisions.

IDeaS will help Stoney Creek bring greater revenue management knowledge and capabilities to hotel executives and property-level leaders, enhancing skills and building confidence in decision-making across the organization. U.K. Oyo hotels go live on Sabre’s SynXis platform
Oyo Hotels & Homes has connected its first group of U.K. hotels to Sabre’s SynXis Central Reservations System, following a global partnership signed between Oyo and Sabre Corporation. More than 80 Oyo hotels in the U.K., representing more than 2,500 rooms, are now connected to all major global distribution systems (GDS) through Sabre’s advanced hospitality solutions.

As well as direct channels, SynXis Central Reservations optimizes global distribution channels and enables greater scale and operational efficiency by delivering rates and inventory to all major GDS and online travel agencies (OTAs) through direct connections and switch partners. The addition of Oyo hotels to Sabre’s SynXis Platform means they are now available to book through Sabre’s own GDS as well as others, corporates, travel management companies and almost 900,000 travel agents and tour operators globally, significantly increasing the distribution channels and revenue opportunities for the selected properties.
