Duetto chosen by Soul Community Planet
Duetto has revealed that its revenue strategy platform has been selected by Soul Community Planet (SCP), a purpose-driven holistic hospitality company, to optimize revenue across its growing portfolio of hotel properties.

Duetto GameChanger has been implemented for SCP Hotel room revenue optimization and Duetto ScoreBoard for business analytics and reporting.

“SCP was looking for a revenue strategy solution that could scale easily in line with its aggressive growth plans,” said Duetto CEO David Woolenberg. “Our cloud-native solutions, coupled with our two-way integration with PMS Mews, proved to be the perfect fit. We are delighted to be working with such a pioneering and environmentally-driven brand and look forward to working with SCP as the hotel portfolio grows.”

John Elston, SCP chief revenue officer, added, “From the first conversation, we were impressed with both the Duetto solution and the team. It’s a winning combination of innovative technology supported by a team of hospitality experts. We look forward to working together in the years ahead and learning from each other.”

Kimpton to launch on-demand family fridge program
To help new parents while traveling, Kimpton is rolling out an on-demand family fridge program in September for families who are bottle feeding or breastfeeding and require proper milk storage while staying on property.

The Mini Me Milk Fridges will be available upon request at the front desk across more than 70 Kimpton properties, and delivered directly to guestrooms as a complimentary service in an effort to alleviate the stresses that often come with family travel. Each property will also have a dedicated fridge available to employees who may need to pump throughout the work day, allowing them to store breast milk in their own private fridge.

The fridges are compact and can easily fit on a countertop within the room. They are specifically qualified to maintain proper temperatures, 40 degrees Fahrenheit (according to the CDC), to store cold milk, providing parents peace of mind and ease when on the go.

Nobu Hotels selects IDeaS as preferred RMS provider
IDeaS’ G3 Revenue Management Software (RMS) is now the exclusive revenue management provider for Nobu Hotels. The software has been implemented at seven of the brand’s properties globally and will be the exclusive RMS for all future hotels.

G3 RMS makes decisions powered with SAS High-Performance Analytics without requiring the manual implementation and approval of recommendations by hotel staff. For brands like Nobu Hotels, this automation helps guide their properties into more strategic pricing and rate availability decisions in an often-shifting travel landscape.

IDeaS easy-to-use heat map allows general managers to quickly access and easily understand collected data. This feature visually displays data so that all users can interpret the information immediately, making RMS decisions easier to explain and understand.

Sam Keyte, corporate director of revenue optimization, Nobu Hotels, said, “This system ensures our commercial teams are working together from the top down. This collaboration provides the insights we need to drive our profitability forward and has shown immediate and measurable results.”

Ravi Mehrotra, president/cofounder, IDeaS, said, “Our partnership with Nobu Hotels is proof of our similar company cultures and values. IDeaS and Nobu Hotels are brands that understand the importance of collaboration, automation and teamwork to ensure growth and success.”
