Mumford Company adds Gaurang Patel to its Dallas office
Mumford Company has expanded its Dallas office with the appointment of Gaurang Patel as sales associate. Patel brings considerable experience to Mumford Company from both his business career and experience as a hotel owner.

“Gaurang will be a great addition to our team as we continue to expand across the country,” said Ed James, managing principal in Mumford Company’s Virginia headquarters. “The Texas hotel market is very active, and we expect Gaurang’s presence there to enhance our continued growth and success in the region.”

As a hotelier, Patel has been involved with real estate acquisitions, debt financing, hotel operations and hotel sales spanning more than a decade. He is also an accomplished electronics engineer. For more than 15 years, he has worked for large technology corporations such as Infosys, Cognizant Technology Solutions and Genpact managing customer relationships and sales for customers such as JPMorgan Chase, Capital One, Royal Bank of Scotland and Robert Half International.

Lily Country Club to implement IDeaS RMS
The Lily Country Club will implement IDeaS Revenue Management System (RMS) at its 507-room Norwegian golf resort, the third-largest hotel in the Oslo area, according to the company.

The property (pictured above) will rely on the data-driven intelligence and operational efficiencies its modern technology stack will deliver, selecting only best-in-class systems with seamless integrations and high-quality support.

IDeaS’ advanced automation will enable Lily Hospitality Group to save time in its centralized revenue management approach and distribute more strategic pricing decisions (e.g., room-type pricing, overbooking decision management, etc.). The property will also leverage IDeaS’ group pricing evaluation functionality to ensure the most optimal guest segment mix.
