HSMAI honors Cindy Estis Green
Cindy Estis Green, CEO/cofounder, Kalibri Labs, and a member of the Hotel Business Advisory Board, was presented with the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s (HSMAI) Vanguard Award for Achievement in Revenue Optimization for the impact of her thought leadership on the industry.
Estis Green’s career began in corporate marketing and senior operations roles for Hilton International. After founding the data mining and predictive modeling analytics company Driving Revenue and selling it to Pegasus Solutions, she spent 12 years as managing partner of The Estis Group.
In 2012, Estis Green cofounded Kalibri Labs, a firm providing a commercial strategy and benchmarking platform to evaluate and predict hotel revenue performance. Using innovative data science techniques, Kalibri Labs helps hotel owners and operators optimize profit contribution and supports the real estate community with the tools that refine underwriting for transactions, development and financial restructuring.
Wyndham expands collaboration with OTA Insight
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has rolled out a new suite of revenue management tools for its franchised and managed hotels in Europe, Middle East, Eurasia and Africa (EMEA). The new initiative will equip participating hotels with stronger and enhanced visualisation of revenue performance metrics and is part of Wyndham’s long-standing partnership with OTA Insight, a cloud-based data intelligence platform.
Revenue Insight by OTA Insight will enable Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and its hotel partners across EMEA to collaborate more closely and efficiently to drive incremental revenue, allowing hoteliers to spot which segments pick up first and via which channels customers book. With interactive dashboards revealing real-time insights and actionable rate performance, hotels will be able to access competitive business intelligence and personalized room-type mapping. An additional benefit includes rate strategy insights, such as events, seasonal calendars and key drivers influencing market rates.
World Cinema partners with Four Winds Interactive
World Cinema has partnered with Four Winds Interactive (FWI) to bring purpose-built digital signage solutions to hotel and multi-family properties nationwide. Digital signage allows properties to promote their services, attractions and special features and offers in an attractive and easy-to-read format.
Digital signage has a multitude of use cases, but the most prominent key benefits of using digital signage are to generate additional revenue, improve guest and resident satisfaction scores and drive content across your entire property. WCI and FWI will offer customers conference and event management, virtual concierge services, digital wayfinding, digital lobby experiences, advertising promotions and employee communications.
Cloud5 Communications arranges funding for hotel industry
Cloud5 Communications, a provider of communications solutions and managed IT services for more than 5,000 hotels, MDUs and commercial facilities across the Americas, has arranged funding dedicated to helping the hard-hit hospitality industry recover from the unprecedented slowdowns in travel and tourism that resulted from COVID-19.
As a result of this new program, hoteliers will now be able to deploy new HSIA networks and telephony systems or upgrade their existing communications technology without the concerns of upfront payments or the burden of trying to secure financing, a move that will allow hotel owners and managers to conserve cash and invest capital funds into other essential projects.
Cloud5 TaaS will expand significantly during Q4 2021 and into 2022 to include additional services and flexible options.
