Mumford Company completes sale of Quality Inn in Canton, OH
Mumford Company, a full-service hotel advisory firm since 1978, has closed on the short sale of the Canton, OH, Quality Inn. Mumford’s George Arvanitis (Chicago), Ed James (Newport News, VA) and Steve Kirby (Atlanta) represented the seller, a single-asset owner, in the transaction.

The deal closed just five months from listing date. The purchasing group, a partnership of Ohio and Southeast-based partners, plan to complete substantial renovations and continue to operate under the Quality Inn brand.

This was Mumford’s third transaction with this buyer group; on the previous two occasions, they were the sellers.

Duetto, Agilysys introduce two-way solution integration
Duetto and Agilysys Inc. have expanded their relationship with the general availability of a seamless two-way integration between Agilysys Stay PMS and Duetto.

Nayara Resorts partners with IDeaS
IDeaS, a SAS company, has formed a partnership with Nayara Resorts, beginning with the implementation of IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) at two of the hotel group’s boutique resorts: Nayara Gardens and Nayara Springs by Costa Rica’s Arenal Volcano National Park.

Nayara Resorts recognized the importance of implementing an RMS as post-travel-restriction demand began returning, selecting IDeaS as a scalable technology partner to unlock greater opportunities for profitability and efficiency.

Moving from manual revenue management to machine-learning automation, IDeaS provides immense time savings, allowing Nayara Resorts to be more strategically focused with a more sophisticated approach to revenue optimization. React Mobile enlists Best Buy to aid in deployment of products
React Mobile has enlisted Best Buy Business to dispatch its Geek Squad agents for installation assistance of React Mobile’s Employee Safety Device (ESD) solution. With Best Buy locations within 20 miles of most hotels in the U.S., React Mobile can scale installations more quickly to ensure each property is up to date on safety compliance policies.

On average, React Mobile is equipping 50 properties each month with its employee safety device solutions. Today more than 100,000 hotel rooms nationwide are keeping hotel employees safe with React Mobile solutions, as the technology responds to the exact location of an emergency within seconds of an alert.
