M3 launches labor management mobile app
M3 has launched M3 Labor, a comprehensive mobile application supporting the company’s popular Labor Management tool. As the hospitality industry further embraces mobile technology, the company has developed a cloud-based solution designed to give more time and greater flexibility to hoteliers through data-driven workforce management tools delivered to their smartphones.

M3 Labor offers all current and future Labor Management customers instant access to M3’s exclusive, cloud-based reporting system, providing seamless labor monitoring from time clock to paycheck. Delivering real-time labor dashboards, customizable labor views and on-the-go punch management, the app is designed to help hoteliers monitor associate hours and proactively avoid unnecessary overtime.

M3’s proprietary workforce management solution, Labor Management is used by more than 27,000 employees working in 1,000 hotels across North America. Now, app users can easily monitor hours and performance KPIs from their mobile devices via custom labor variance dashboards presenting metrics such as hours worked, labor dollars, POR and more. Time punch management provides a comprehensive overview of missed punches, shift schedules and more so managers can monitor on-the-clock employees in real time. Employees can also easily view schedules and timesheets, including hours worked and overtime hours, at their convenience via their smartphones.

La Valencia Hotel chooses Agilysys POS SaaS solutions
La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, CA, has implemented Agilysys Inc.’s InfoGenesis and IG Flex SaaS POS solutions, as well as its cloud-native SaaS Agilysys Pay Connect secure payment processing product.

InfoGenesis POS is a comprehensive point-of-sale system that combines easy-to-use terminal and mobile tablet touchscreen applications supporting Windows, Android and iOS devices. Its reporting and analysis features, enterprise-grade menu and item configuration capabilities and multi-language support drive service flexibility and increased operational efficiency.

IG Flex is Agilysys’ mobility solution that offers full point-of-sale functionality delivered on a convenient tablet device. It provides signature capture, adaptable kitchen and receipt printing for large service areas and a feature-rich mobile experience.

Agilysys Pay Connect is a cloud-native solution that allows third-party gateways and adapters to integrate with Agilysys Pay to perform payment transactions.

SMARTments business selects IDeaS
Serviced apartment provider SMARTments business has selected IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) to deliver automated, dynamic pricing and accurate forecasting across its growing portfolio.

SMARTments business unit will implement IDeaS G3 RMS at its six extended-stay hotels across Germany, with a total of 752 furnished apartments in Munich, Vienna, Hamburg and Berlin. New properties in Mannheim and Vienna will also implement G3 RMS prior to opening later this year.

IDeaS will integrate with the Apaleo cloud platform across the SMARTments business portfolio. Apaleo links together all systems necessary for SMARTments business operations, enabling the digitalized automation of property management, guest services, booking, accounting and more.
