LG Professional launches ProBeam laser projectors
LG Business Solutions USA has launched its brightest projectors ever, the new LG ProBeam BU60PST and LG ProBeam BF60PST.

Delivering 6000 ANSI lumens, a 20% increase over LG’s next brightest models, these laser projectors are designed to project highly detailed imaging for critical government, financial, engineering, medical and digital signage installations in medium- to large-sized spaces. Rated at 20,000 hours of laser life and offering lens shift and 1.6x optical zoom, both TAA-compliant models excel in critical needs environments.

The main difference between the two models is the maximum resolution, with the ProBeam BU60PST offering 4K UHD (3840×2160) and the ProBeam BF60PST delivering WUXGA (1920×1200). With a minimum picture size of 40 in., and a maximum of 300 in. (25 ft.), both the 4K UHD and WUXGA models can be used in any size room for virtually any size meeting or crowd.

IDeaS, a SAS company, a provider of hotel revenue management software and services, has partnered with Cora Cora Maldives to implement IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) at the Maldives resort opening.

World Cinema adds Nextivity’s Cel-Fi cellular coverage products
Nextivity and World Cinema (WCI) are partnering to deliver enterprise-grade in-building cellular connectivity to communities and destination properties throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. WCI now offers Nextivity’s Cel-Fi products through ImpruviX, its suite of complete and custom wireless connectivity solutions for hotels, student housing, senior living communities, luxury multi-dwelling units (MDUs), master-planned communities and healthcare facilities.

WCI serves more than 4,200 hotels and 120 student properties. In October 2020, WCI launched ImpruviX to deliver and support enterprise-grade wireless connectivity for both B2B and B2C customers. ImpruviX solutions by WCI are designed for lowest total cost of ownership and are sensitive to capital value. Nextivity’s Cel-Fi products that optimize cellular coverage in enterprise, small business, residential and mobile settings, enable WCI to deliver customized solutions that align with customers’ in-building cellular connectivity needs and budget constraints.

SurePods expands manufacturing facility
Modular prefabrication company SurePods is expanding its facility in Orlando, FL, due to its rapid growth, nearly doubling both its workforce and operational capacity. The company is adding an additional 40,000 sq. ft. to its 80,000-sq.-ft. facility and planning to create more than 60 new jobs.

SurePods is the longest producing prefabrication (prefab) bathroom manufacturer in North America and concentrates mainly on commercial projects in the hospitality, healthcare and residential markets. The company experienced increased demand for its services from 2019 to 2020, with revenue growth of more than 50%. The company expects to grow revenue by a further 120% in 2021.
