Sean Fitzpatrick Takes Reins as CEO of OTA Insight
OTA Insight has appointed Sean Fitzpatrick as CEO, effective immediately. He has succeed Adriaan Coppens, the company’s co-founder and previous CEO, who has led the company since its founding in 2012. Due to family reasons, Coppens expressed his desire to step down from the day-to-day management of the business. He plans to continue to serve the company as a non-executive board member on OTA Insight’s board of directors.
Fitzpatrick comes to OTA Insight after serving as COO and head of product at HotSchedules, where he oversaw product strategy and design across the HotSchedules portfolio. Prior to joining HotSchedules, he was global VP of strategy and product management at Oracle Corporation. He has more than 20 years of executive management experience in the technology industry and has held senior leadership and strategy positions with BearingPoint, BroadVision and Nokia.
Midas Organization Hires Chief Experience Officer
Midas Organization has appointed Marc Connor as CEO for sister companies Midas Hospitality, Midas Capital, Midas Development and MC Hotel Construction.
He has more than 20 years of experience in assisting businesses with innovation, organization, marketing and strategy. Prior to joining the Midas organization, he held senior positions with Build-A-Bear Workshop and the global advertising agency Possible.
HVMG Names Roxanne Rees Director of Asset Management and Analytics
HVMG has named Roxanne Rees to the role of director of asset management and analytics. In her new role, she will develop and maintain operational reporting systems, as well as produce operational and financial analysis, for HVMG’s portfolio of independent and boutique hotels and resorts, as well as full-service, select-service and extended-stay hotels under the Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG brands.
Prior to joining HVMG, Roxanne held a number of positions with InterContinental Hotels Group, culminating in manager, business support, for their Americas Finance division. In that role, she provided analytical support for IHG’s entire portfolio of more than 3,000 franchised hotels in North America. Previously, she worked as a financial analyst for Ashford Hospitality Trust and as an analyst for Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.
Coast Hotels USA Appoints Jeanne Kloser as Corporate Controller
Coast Hotels USA has appointed Jeanne Kloser as its new corporate controller. Prior to joining Coast, she worked as the controller at Indigo Real Estate Services. She also spent time Epic Asset Management and Moco Inc., Claremont Hotel Corporation and GlobalTel Resources Inc.
Dream Hotel Group Appoints Sunny Li as VP of Development, China & North Asia
Dream Hotel Group has appointed Sunny Li as VP of development for China and North Asia. Prior to joining Dream Hotel Group, Li held multiple positions with Wyndham Hotel Group, Marriott International, Rosewood Hotel Group and Morgan Stanley, covering development operations and sales & marketing on both the regional and property levels in Australia, New Caledonia, India, Korea, Japan and China. He most recently served as COO at Sinowood Hotels & Resorts.
