Kimpton Grows Development Team
Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has added two new additions to its rapidly growing development team, Tiffany Cooper, SVP of development and Dan Thorman, VP of development. In their respective positions, Cooper and Thorman will be responsible for the brand’s overall growth strategy and the expansion of Kimpton’s development pipeline across the Americas. They join a robust team, led by Chief Development Officer Allison Reid. Other recent additions to the development team include Charlotte Giovanni, VP of development and David Ruger, senior director of development.
The Hotel Group Names Corporate Director of HR
The Hotel Group (THG) has named Stephanie Benadof as corporate director of human resources. She joins THG from Asure Consulting (formerly Personnel Management Systems Inc.), where she served as a senior HR consultant responsible for providing comprehensive HR solutions to small and mid-sized companies. Prior to Asure Consulting, she served as a human resource consultant for the Cobos Group and human resources director for Pura Vida Coffee.
Airbnb Adds Head of Executive Ops
Kristen Jarvis West has joined Airbnb as head of executive operations. In this newly created role, she will build out and manage the team for the office of the CEO and advise the CEO on a range of strategic matters. She previously worked as deputy senior advisor and director external relations for former first lady Michelle Obama under the Obama administration. Prior to that, she served as assistant to the chief of staff under then-Senator Barack Obama.
MatchLine Design Group Hires Architectural Designer
MatchLine Design Group has hired Brandon Barnett as an architectural designer. Barnett possesses a strong background focusing on the architectural aspects of interior design with more than 20 years of experience implementing designs into AutoCAD for the hospitality and lighting Industries.
