Charlestowne Preserves History in Bristol, VA
Charlestowne Hotels has opened The Bristol Hotel as the first and only boutique hotel in Bristol, VA.
A significant addition to Charlestowne’s extensive adaptive-reuse portfolio, the management company partnered with developer McCall Capital on the historic preservation of the 65-room hotel, which opens at the original site of Bristol’s 1925 Executive Plaza building. Charlestowne’s team will continue to manage the operations, marketing and revenue management for the hotel and its two dining outlets, including an Appalachian-inspired family-style restaurant and the city’s first rooftop bar.
Hotel Focuses on Art in Kansas City, MO
Aparium Hotel Group has opened the Crossroads Hotel in Kansas City, MO. The hotel is located in the Crossroads Arts District. The 131-key hotel will be home to three drinking and dining concepts: XR, an all-day casual eatery and bar; Lazia, a modern Italian restaurant; and Percheron, a rooftop beer garden.
The hotel has a 2,000-sq.-ft. public gallery and studio space dedicated to an ongoing artists-in-residency program and more than 9,000 sq. ft. of event space.
Fairfield Inn & Suites Opens Near Nashville Airport
The 104-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Nashville, TN, is open today with new decor. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Nashville Airport will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by NNP Investments.
Located close to Nashville International Airport, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Nashville Airport offers guests access to Gaylord Opryland Resort, the Opry Mills Mall, Gaylord Springs Golf Links, Bridgestone Arena and the downtown nightlife on Broadway. Additional amenities include an indoor whirlpool spa, a fitness center, valet laundry service, complimentary WiFi and fax and copy services.
TownePlace Suites Opens in Kingsville, TX
Marriott International’s TownePlace Suites by Marriott Kingsville is open. The new hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Oceangate Investments.
The new hotel offers guests access to King Ranch and Kingsville Naval Air Station. The TownePlace Suites Kingsville has a 24-hour In a Pinch market and On Us coffee service.
Shaner Makes Moves in Ohio
Shaner Hotels has opened the 98-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Dayton in Dayton, OH. Shaner operates and co-owns the select-service hotel in conjunction with Crawford Hoying, a full-service, multi-class real estate company, marking their third joint venture project together with a fourth Ohio hotel in the planning stages.
Area attractions include the Dayton Art Institute, the University of Dayton and the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, as well as the headquarters of companies including CareSource, Premier Health and Stratacache. Hotel amenities include a fitness center, on-site laundry facilities, business center and complimentary WiFi. Dining options comprise a daily, complimentary breakfast, lobby bar and market.
Courtyard by Marriott Expands in Ohio
Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Elyria is open in Elyria, OH. The 104-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Sunrise Hospitality of Fremont, OH. The hotel is close to Cedar Point Amusement Park, Oberlin College, downtown Elyria and downtown Cleveland.
The four-story hotel has an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and guest laundry, and offers 1,700 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 100 people.
