Recent openings in the U.S. include two Florida hotels, an Autograph Collection hotel in Fort Worth, TX, and more.
Hilton Aventura Miami
Located in the metropolitan city of Aventura, FL, the Hilton Aventura Miami has opened. The 208-room hotel was designed by Prime Design Associates and features a seventh-floor lobby which includes Gala restaurant, MuseBar, Hilton Executive Lounge, The Reserve and the Library lounge. An elevated pool deck offers skyline views and private cabanas.
Other hotel amenities include more than 15,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor function space, a 24-hour fitness center, an eighth-story yoga studio and complimentary WiFi.
Hotel Drover, an Autograph Collection hotel, has opened in the Fort Worth Stockyards’ National Historic District in Fort Worth, TX. The hotel serves as the anchor to Mule Alley, an entertainment destination transformed from restored 100-year-old horse and mule barns.
The property has 200 guestrooms and spa suites, each featuring its own distinct design. F&B outlets include 97 West Kitchen & Bar at Fort Worth Stockyards, the Veranda Bar and the Lobby Bar. Also on-site is The Backyard, which features a ranch-style heated pool and jacuzzi; three private cabanas outfitted with hanging daybeds and custom chandeliers; fire pits; an outdoor stage; and yard games. The hotel also has a fitness center and nearly 40,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
Hyatt Place/Hyatt House North Scottsdale
Hyatt Place North Scottsdale and Hyatt House North Scottsdale, Scottsdale, AZ’s first combined Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels, have opened near Mayo Clinic Hospital, as well as a number of notable golf courses such as Grayhawk, TPC Scottsdale and Troon North. The hotels are operated by Evolution Hospitality.
The dual-branded properties feature nearly 2,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, open concept public spaces, a 24-hour fitness center, a breakfast area, a bar area and an outdoor swimming pool.
Hyatt Place North Scottsdale offers 136 guestrooms, 1,910 sq. ft. of meeting/function space, a fitness center and the Necessities program for forgotten items. The Hyatt House North Scottsdale includes 93 studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchenettes, free hot breakfast, H Bar with a Sip + Snack menu and indoor and outdoor communal spaces.
Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Downtown
Owned by Prime Hospitality Group and operated by Shaner Hotels, the 137-room Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Downtown in Fort Lauderdale, FL, has opened. The hotel is located in the Flagler Village portion of Quantum Lifestyle Center, home to multiple, new luxury rental buildings and several residential condominiums and townhouses.
The nine-story hotel offers 2,300 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space for up to 160 people, Quantum Kitchen café, a 24/7 fitness center and Crate, a lobby market. Guestrooms have 65-in. flat-screen TVs, microwaves and refrigerators, as well as oversized workspaces and complimentary WiFi.
Red Roof Inn Cullman
The Red Roof Inn Cullman in Cullman, AL, has opened between Bankhead National Forest and the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge Center. It is near the University of Alabama in Huntsville and Wallace State Community College, as well as the Cullman Warehouse District, the Cullman County Fairgrounds, St. Bernard Abbey and Ave Maria Grotto.
The pet-friendly hotel offers a seasonal pool, a business center, free coffee in the lobby and expanded cable.
