New CFO at Kempinski; more people on the move

Kempinski Hotels has named a new CFO, while Valor and Premier have made additions to their personnel rosters.

Isidoro Geretto appointed CFO at Kempinski Hotels S.A.
The Kempinski Supervisory Board has agreed to an early extension of Isidoro Geretto’s mandate as member of the management board of Kempinski AG and named him CFO of the Kempinski Group.

Geretto’s career in hospitality and finance spans more than four decades. He started in accounting at the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz in Switzerland before joining Swissȏtel in 1987 and taking up the assistant financial controller position at the Hotel International Zurich. In 1990, he became the financial controller of the Hotel Bellevue Palace. In 2001, he was appointed VP, finance, Swissȏtel Hotels & Resorts and in 2006 took up the role of VP finance, EMEA and Asia, Fairmont Raffles Hotels International.

In 2013, he became the VP finance and business support, Europe, FRHI Hotels & Resorts (Fairmont, Raffles, Swissôtel Hotels). He joined Kempinski in 2019 as VP finance Middle East & Africa before serving as acting CFO since 2020.

Valor Hospitality added resourcing and talent director
Valor Hospitality Partners has appointed Natasha Nagra to a brand-new role as resourcing and talent director, based at Valor’s U.K. head office.

With nine years in the recruitment industry, she brings a wealth of resourcing and talent experience to the role. With her previous position as head of employer brand and talent at Kew Green Hotels, she is familiar with recognizing the flair and ability required to excel in the hospitality sector.

Leading the hotel management company’s recruitment strategy, she will be positioned within Valor’s central team supporting global HR Director Moira Laird, developing the company’s employee value proposition and communicating Valor’s culture to prospective employees.

Premier expands procurement team
Premier, an end-to-end design, procurement and project management services firm, is expanding its procurement team with the addition of Richard Palagano as director, strategic procurement and Cathy Jennings as director, procurement.

In his new role, Palagano will solidify and grow Premier’s relationships with vendors across the globe. He will also lead the firm’s efforts to ensure its clients are maximizing efficiency. Additionally, he will represent the firm at various industry events and conferences.

Throughout Premier’s various portfolios, Jennings will manage procurement services and the supply chain for FF&E and OS&E projects. She will also support new construction and renovation projects for both hospitality and multifamily properties.
