New CCO at Omni; More people on the move

Omni Hotels & Resorts has named a new chief commercial officer, while Enseo has added a new president.

Palli joins Omni
Omni Hotels & Resorts has appointed Peter Palli as its new chief commercial officer.

He is responsible for all revenue generating efforts across sales, marketing, revenue management, distribution and analytics, as well as operations at the Omni customer-contact center.

A travel and hospitality veteran with 25 years of experience, Palli joins Omni from Signature Aviation, where he served as VP, revenue management and analytics, leading efforts to digitize the commercial operation.

Having started his hospitality career in his native Austria, Palli joined Hilton in 1998 and during a two-decade span with the company progressed from operational roles at various hotels in the Hilton portfolio to senior corporate technology and commercial leadership positions, including VP, distribution and commercial solutions.

Enseo names Singleton president/CIO
Technology services provider Enseo has promoted Kristen Singleton to president. She joined Enseo as CIO in 2020 and will continue holding that position in addition to her new role as president.

Singleton has spent her career defining technology strategies that drive bottom-line growth and achieve business goals, according to the company. A 30-year veteran of the technology industry, she has more than a decade of experience in gaming, hospitality and travel, and has held CIO positions for companies including Omni Hotels & Resorts, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and International Cruise & Excursions (I.C.E.).

Raines promotes Myers
Raines, a hospitality management, development and investment group, recently appointed Kristen Myers as VP, investments.

In this new, specialized role, she is responsible for the company’s investment and capital activities, focusing on developing an investment thesis for each of Raines’ projects while also managing investor relations, investment analysis and underwriting.

A longtime team member of Raines, Myers has held key leadership roles since joining the organization in March 2015. After serving as VP, development for five years, she transitioned into an overarching VP role to oversee the Raines’ long-term trajectory by guiding the company through a rebrand and expansion of offerings earlier this year. During this time, she also managed Raines’ insurance portfolio and launch of its IMS platform, all while still playing a key leadership role in development.

As Raines continued to grow, Myers, along with other members of the executive team, identified an opportunity to enhance and foster its investor relations infrastructure. Based on her experience and skill set, she was identified as the right fit for the role. As she develops an investment thesis for each project, she will perform market research, proforma modeling, site acquisition, franchise negotiation, equity/debt financing, underwriting and more. In addition to these responsibilities, she will place an emphasis on innovating the investor experience, focusing on communication and building relationships with the company’s selective group of investors.

Mallia promoted at Dream Hotel Group
Dream Hotel Group has promoted Robert R. Mallia to VP, architecture and construction. He has been with the company for 10 years.

In his new role, he oversees architecture and construction planning efforts for all Dream Hotel Group properties worldwide. His key areas of focus include pre-construction drawings, programming review, building codes, zoning analysis, monitoring construction and renovation budgets, schedules, procurement, overseas sourcing and quality control, construction contract review and, ultimately, the successful handover of the project at hand.

Mallia joined the company as architectural director in 2011, bringing a depth of knowledge and global expertise to the company. Prior to Dream, he was engaged at Manhattan-based architectural firm WQB Architecture PLLC, working on numerous hospitality and residential projects around the world, including the first location of Dream Hotel Group’s five-star luxury brand, the Thierry W. Despont-led reimagining of the Lambs Club into The Chatwal New York, with Mallia as architectural project manager.

During his 10-year tenure with Dream Hotel Group, he has overseen multiple construction and renovation projects at all of the group’s New York properties, as well as the pre-construction stages on hotels further afield in California, Texas and Belgium.

Wellengood Partners appoints Stokes
Wellengood Partners has appointed Danielle Stokes as VP, hospitality development.

She is now evaluating and pursuing new development opportunities, negotiating contracts, managing FF&E procurement and cost control and more.  Additionally, she has taken the lead on PR, social media and marketing efforts at the hospitality development and management company.

With 17 years of immersed development experience, Stokes has served as chief administrative officer at Safe Harbor Development, where she also oversaw real estate and development; VP, real estate at Natural Markets Food Group; and helped Earth Fare grow their real estate footprint as a consultant.
