MCR acquires Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago

MCR has acquired the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago, the largest hotel near Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The 11-story, 1,095-room hotel in Rosemont, IL, underwent a $13 million guestroom renovation in 2020. This is the company’s first Hyatt Regency-branded hotel acquisition and its fifth hotel in Illinois.

The hotel is located less than two miles from the airport and is connected via skywalk to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. The surrounding area is a corporate hub, with more than 18 million sq. ft. of office space. It’s home to the headquarters of US Foods, Wintrust, the Big Ten Conference and Reyes Holdings. All are located within a few blocks of the hotel.

The hotel offers three dining options, including a full-service Red Bar & Lounge in the evenings, O’H American Grill for daily breakfast buffet and lunch service and Perks To-Go market.

Other amenities include 110,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, free WiFi and 24-hour fitness and business centers.
