Marriott International has appointed Federico Greppi as COO for Caribbean and Latin America (CALA).
“Federico is a dedicated professional with strategic planning skills and a keen focus on the day-to-day operations,” said Brian King, president, Marriott International CALA. “His ability to translate Marriott International’s global vision into effective local actions has been invaluable to our business, earning him recognition from the team, owners, and operators.”
Greppi’s most recent position was Marriott’s CFO and head of franchise operations and owner relations for the CALA region. He was instrumental in driving Marriott’s growth in the region, according to the company. It currently operates nearly 500 properties across 38 markets, generating more than $5 billion in revenue.
With a career in hospitality spanning over two decades, he joined the industry in 2003 and has held various positions at Marriott’s headquarters, the Americas and CALA divisions. Prior to Marriott, he was a consultant at Andersen, where he worked with clients across various industries.
